Google Headquarters, Kings Cross, London - Platform 37
Google’s UK headquarters at Kings Cross is one of the most significant commercial developments in London’s Knowledge Quarter. The landmark building spans eleven storeys and provides more than 860,000 square feet of office space, designed to accommodate up to 7,000 employees once complete.
The building stretches approximately 330 metres in length and forms part of a wider Google campus alongside the existing office at Pancras Square. The development strengthens the area’s position as a leading hub for technology, research and innovation within London.
PohlCon products were supplied to a range of contractors involved in the construction of the project. JORDAHL Cast in Channels were used across multiple applications, including façade connections, balustrade connections and precast concrete connections. These systems provided reliable and adjustable cast-in fixing solutions to support the complex structural and façade elements required on a project of this scale.
In addition, our JTA-SD Façade Connection Channel systems were supplied for structural support applications, contributing to the efficient installation of façade and connection elements throughout the building.
The Google Headquarters remains one of the most ambitious office developments in London, which plays a key role in supporting the continued growth of the capital’s technology sector.
